&lt;p&gt;I&#039;ve only ever seen the spelling &#039;extravert&#039; in the psych literature - though the Microsoft spellchecker does want to use &#039;extrovert&#039;. What up, Bill?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I checked out the prefixes and it seems:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Extra-vert = outward turning&lt;br /&gt;
Intro-vert = inward turning.&lt;/p&gt;

		<description>I always thought it was extrovert and was going to correct you but I looked it up and extravert is an accepted varriation although it is less common(and one that the spell checker might not know about)  ;)
